Zero permeability cubes allow you to block fluid flow within a defined volumetric region of the simulation grid, simulating the no-flow boundary that develops between a well and its drained neighbors.
Each cube is defined by its center coordinates, dimensions, and an optional rotation angle. By default, cubes are oriented aligned with the principal stress directions. You can specify up to six start/end time pairs to activate and deactivate the cube at different points in the simulation. If no times are specified, the cube remains active for the full run.
Zero permeability cubes are a practical approximation for capturing the effect of offset well depletion without simulating each neighboring well explicitly, improving both model setup efficiency and simulation speed.
