We are proud to announce that Dr. Danial Zeinabady, Senior Software Developer at ResFrac, along with Dr. Christopher Clarkson (University of Calgary) and Dr. Benham Zanganeh (Chevron), has been awarded the ASTech Award (Alberta Science and Technology) in Energy for developing a revolutionary new well-testing method for the energy industry—the DFIT-Flowback Analysis method.
Through their work, more than 10 operators have successfully conducted over 300 tests across Canada, the United States, and Australia. This innovation in well-testing represents a significant step forward in hydraulic fracture and reservoir characterization in unconventional reservoirs.
This award recognizes leadership and significant contributions through the discovery, application, and implementation of advancements in the energy and cleantech sectors that further science and technology. The award was presented at the 35th ASTech Award ceremony by Lauren Savoie and the Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada.
