For this month’s Office Hours we had Chris Ponners, our Customer Support Lead, give a presentation highlighting new capabilities introduced in our June release. There are so many updates to share that we’ll be continuing the discussion during next month’s Office Hours as well.

We covered new ResFracPro capabilities supporting conventional hydraulic fracturing applications, including improved filtercake, spurt loss, pipe friction, pad/flush options, and proppant concentration ramps. He also demonstrated new visualization features and added options for black oil tables.

Next month, we’ll discuss updates to economic calculations for oil and gas, geothermal, and EOR applications; new relative-permeability model options; and a variety of additional physical and numerical improvements.
