2026 ResFrac Annual Symposium

About this event

Each year ResFrac hosts an Annual Symposium for our customers and clients. This year we are excited to return with a hybrid event on June 25, 2026, allowing participants to join us in-person or remotely.  Our in-person contingent will meet in Spring, TX, and our virtual attendees will receive call details before the event.  As in past years, the symposium will include case studies and a panel session, a recap of our latest ResFrac and ResApps developments over the past year, and a preview of what’s coming up next.

The speaker list for the symposium includes:

  • Michelle Johnston (ARC Resources) and Sama Morsy (ResFrac) presenting integrated field diagnostics and 3D modeling of horizontal fractures;
  • Matt Jones (Occidental Petroleum) presenting field and modeling results on perforation design optimization in the Delaware Basin;
  • Madalene Albrecht (Anshutz Exploration) with a presentation on hydraulic fracture optimization in the Rocky Mountains;
  • Dr. Danial Zeinabady and Dr. Michael Nole (ResFrac) introducing ResFrac’s multisector simulation capability; and
  • Prof. Mark Zoback (Stanford University) presenting on the implications of Viscoplastic Stress Relaxation (VSR) for predicting hydraulic fracture propagation and opening on sub-horizontal planes.

The panel session theme is “Measurements to Models to Money,” exploring how operators accelerate the learning curve and drive better technical and economic outcomes. Craig Cipolla (ResFrac) will moderate a distinguished group of panelists, including Lucas Martin of FourPoint Energy, Matthew Jones of Occidental Petroleum, Dr. Tim Benish of ExxonMobil, and Brandon Williams of ConocoPhillips.
